E-K-C, How are you doing with your LOL's? I called B&L and was sent a complaint form to fill out. It was FedEx to me overnight. This is a Standard Complaint form for this product. They have a person that is Global Product Surveillance & Saftey for the Surgical Division. If we could get everyone from this form with problems due to Crystalens implants, maybe we could get some help???? Mary Carvajal is her name.888-393-6642
I put some photos on my profile. The one on the upper left of 4 is what would be considered a normal amount of starburst glare.
Just a quick note to say hi! More tickets sold to the Crystalens Train. Profit, plain and simple. I'm doing the research that I should have used on my Doctor and this product for a Lawyer. And , I will find one . I have 2 years, not the 20 minute exam that she used to change my life for ever. I just hope the 14 minutes of work, total time for both of my eyes was worth it to her.All for a $3600.00 paycheck. Now lets do some math. Surgery every week for fifty weeks a year.Times 8 Cyrstalens.$90,000.00. Yag on 50% at about $1000.00 each for 25 seconds of work, add $200,000.00.Total of $290,00.00 devide by the hours spent(62), and you get $6304.00 pr hr base pay pr hr worked.
And all you need to do, is fail the glare test. Hello......
Interesting that you have light blue eyes - I do also. Supposedly that makes us much more sensitive to light. Mayeb that's a common thread to why the starbursting. I too should never have gotten the YAG (both eyes). It went like this: The 1st eye got starbursting, so The doc says "we'll just make the hole bigger - that will solve it". Then right before I was to travel to Italy, at my last visit, doc says the other eye should be done before traveling, to improve my vision, and we'll make this one a bit larger right fronm the get go so there's no starbursting. Sounded certain, so I didn;t insist on making the first eye larger first to "test" that assertion. And so the big mistake happened!
I am also experiencing severe starbursting from YAG with CrystalensHD500. Has yours been resolved at all? I have been searching for answers for months and have found little information about this outcome. Any help greatly appreciated!
