Just a quick note to say hi! It is good to see you pop up here. Send us an update when you get the chance. - L
Thanks for your note. I believe I will be offered gilenya, but avonex is also on the table. I doubt that I'll pass the screening for the gilenya so probably won't need to have to make the decision on my own. Do you know why this drug caused more inflammation in your case? I don't need that issue either.
Congratulations! Time for a celebration...
The first day of a new job is a very big deal! Congrats on making it through & don't over do on the home front for a few days so you don't burn out and get sick.
I get back on the 7th. We'll put our heads together and work out a date - promise! Glad it went well for you.
Thanks for helpful advice..I would not have had a clue how to do the links to journal so will try and remember next time I post (which will be next week with more hospital visits)
Just a quick note to say hi!
I really appreciate your thoughtful, insightful replies to my post..all very interesting to a newcomer who is till learning every day about MS and will continue to do so for the rest of her life.
I have felt so supported by this site so just wanted to thankyou personally.
Wiht much love Sarah
PS I am curious what your background is.....we are so lucky to have so many helpful people on this site with such a wealth of experience and I know that it helps to give back to other people but the great thing is that we are all there for each other.
Q & I thnk that your reply on clinical trials would make a great health page? Would you please consider doing it for the group? - L
Thanks for the warm thoughts. Things are starting to get complicated...as to be expected. Trying to stay positive and move forward with as much dignity and self respect as possible.
Hey, Sho, I was quite fascinated to read the origins of your screen name. I knew it was Japanese, but that's all. Sending good wishes, ess
Happy Holidays! Pace yourself over the holidays - don't wear yourself out doing too much, ok? Merry Christmas! - L
Merry Christmas! IVIG seems to be OK, but I guess time will tell. Not many side effects yet. I sure hope your treatment really helps. We are all watching and waiting with baited breath! Fingers crossed tightly ~Jessica
I hope you are still improving and that is sooo great. The keppra helps a lot, many less complicated seizures. Still a lot of small ones, and I am told I should have more control of them but you know when you lay in the yard having fallen 4xs a week to down to none it feels good. LOL
I just can't tell you how proud of you we are!
I will be thinking about you!! Keep me posted. I am excited for you.
Wishing you all the best
Good thoughts and heart felt prayers are with you this week
Thanks for the note - I think things aren't easy for either of us anymore, are they? :) I am sorry I haven't written back to your email yet - this last UTI had me good and sick. I will write within the next couple of days... have a great Thanksgiving! Bye for now - Rita
HI I have missed you. Well it looks like seizures, I went to Mayo, a couple weeks ago. So maybe that will bring relief.
How are you? And the Migraines are controlled much better. Plus no falling, :)
Hey Sho - We have a new member who came along - asked if anyone was on the fingolimod. Member is currently on betaseron. I mentioned I'd reach out to you. Hope this note finds you well - I need to go now and look for the name of the poster, or least the title for you...have a good one - Shell
Just a question...did you take your display pic? I was wondering if you found the little guy in your garden? take care, terry
Just a quick note to say hi! Thanks for answering my post, I have ordered the other book that I don't have about MS and feelings and will read avidly - thanks again practical help is great as well as encouragement and I am sure reading it will help (((hugs))) Oat x
Sorry it has been so long. I haven't felt well. Had another problem with blurred vision, loss of balance and coordination, and nausea...........basically I couldn't walk without help and had to cover my eyes because of the vision blurriness. Went to the ER since I had an MRI with small left cerebellar infarction before. So the ER Dr thought it might be a stroke. Ended up calling my Neurologist who wasn't all that concerned, said it could be a migraine.....I was dehydrated and given IV and nausea meds.
So again no real help to figure this out............ugh
Hope you are doing ok......
Yeah, I don't think I'll know any more about the vessels in my back than I did before - but the important thing is to make sure there isn't a blood clot in the femoral.
I'm really curious now, though! Of course, with the CCSVI, the stenosis occurs at some point removed from the brain - so if there's stenosis from lesions in my spine, then I'm not sure where they'd be located.
It's good to hear from you! I'm rarely on the computer anymore due to my Neurologist
having me drugged out of my mind. I quit my medications (the new one's) on Wednesday, so I'm doing good now. How have you been? Let me know.
Hey there, sorry it has been so long. Well they are really figuring out a lot I believe. It is a neurologist/pt person, and she feels it is related to the left ceribellum and the the spot there. Which they figure was a small stroke. So Pt is saying that is consistent with that injury. They found I walk back on my heels and are working on my balance. At first their test hurt my back so I was down with that for a long while. But I see a little difference, so that is good. She said I am flexible and not rigid like with M.S.
How are you?
Hello! I just wanted to thank you again for your response to my question! I just read your journal entry & wow.....I could have written it myself! Do you take the DMD's now & are your symtoms better??I pray you are feeling well & thanks again!!
Hey there, did you go to your new neuro yet? Just thinking of you and hoping it went well.
No problem. I should probably also mention that I'm not totally against pharmaceuticals. I am taking Copaxone, in addition to watching my diet. I just don't like how doctors dismiss out-of-hand the potential effects of die.
