Thanks for the note, Sho! I feel less "alone" after I read your journal. As positive as I am as a person, I find the misery loves company thing kind of comforting. Knowing another person has the same set of symptoms sort of makes me feel relieved. I am not crazy!!! :) Neither are you. Cheers!

Thanks for the link to your thread about the computerized balance thingy.  Oooh, I know I'm getting tired when I can't remember the name of something I was just reading about!  I guess I'd better look at it again tomorrow when I've gotten more rest.  I'm curious as to how I'd do, and the climbing harness type thing to keep you from falling sounds like a very good idea.  I'll have to find out if my neuro or PCP knows where I should go for testing like that, as well as the VNG.

Just a quick note to say hi! Thank you for replying with the info you know about atrophy. I'm just trying to fit the pieces of the puzzle together and every bit of information I get is helpful. I do get my CD's and my reports always show more than I can see, so I believe you a right the can use pixel or something like that.

Be Well,
Lynn

Sho, I just read your HP  on neurodegeneration.  Well constructed and easy to understaand - well as easy to understand as you can make this complex topic! :-)  Thanks for doing the work on it so the rest of us can benefit.

Hi Sho,
very interesting post, went a bit over my head and had to read it twice, well 3 times but it was a worthwhile interesting read.
Thank you for sharing this with us.
Cheers,
Udkas.

My vit. d stays really good now that I take mega prescription doses once a month.  All my friends have agreed and laughed that for the safety of others I should use mine, especially at rabbit show, which are crowded.  I loved your journal, wish I had done that.  Hope you are doing as well as you can.

Yes,  I need to make an appointment soon.  My neck spasms are not happening as often. So it's bearable- thank goodness.
I'm glad you contacted me because sometimes I'm a little opinionated and maybe I rub people the wrong way.
I had a bad experience a few years back and I think sometimes I am skeptical of doctors and medicines.  But everyone needs to do what's best for them, don't you think?   Thanks-  Have a good rest of the week.  PS

Thanks.  The dr on line suggested it. I haven't talked about it with mine as yet. No, I've never had seisures so I don't think I care to add that to my list of things. I've said before I try not to take meds if I can help it because I think ALL medicine does something to us OR gives some side effect.  I was just hoping someone would say miracle of miracles - NO side effects but I'm glad it works for you. Thanks for responding. PS

You're in my thoughts all the time, but especially today.  Has the Vit d helped?  I just thought about that today?  Or can't tell yet...just thinking about you and how that was going.

Just a quick note to say hi!  Thanks for your info about that medicine. After reading your reply I'm not sure I want to try it now so I do appreciate your input.  Sometimes I think alot of the meds cause MORE problems later. ps103

Thanks, Sho. I hope it wasn't insulting when I "whined" the other day online. Of course I completely appreciated your always helpful input.

I've had three neuros, and I have to say that only one evinced even a transient interest in anything I'd brought, including MRI reports or other results from previous testing. They just haven't been interested at all in my VERY BRIEF, less than a half page, timelines. I'm really taking it for me so that I don't forget to say what I want to say.

Thank you for the brain plasticity Health Page, done in your usual fine style. I find it interesting and just a bit ironic that Constraint/Movement therapy is seen as cutting edge. I remember being told long ago that when arm fractures were healed, doctors used to bind the other arm to the body as a way of strengthening the healed arm, since the patient was forced to use it. Not much new under the sun.

Thanks, I tried it today.  It worked great.  Now do you have any secrets for typing more than two words before having to stop and fix it.  I sure could use a trick to fix that.

Wishing you peace, joy and heath for the Holiday Season,

quick note to say hi! Hi Shoshin, yes I do want a diagnosis but then if I get one I wouldn't be happy either. (No pleasing me), I guess while I don't have a diagnosis I know it's not getting so bad that it shows up.

I bet most people with RRMS wish they didn't have a positive MRI.  Now I  have the LP and the new MRI scheduled I am feeling a bit glum about it all, I should feel positive and I am pleased my neuro is trying to help me but I do feel a bit depressed as in my mind i think this won't show anything either and then I start to think I am just imagining things...

Take care, thanks for your replies on the LP stuff.  I will take things very easy
Cheers,

Thanks for the note.  There probably is more than one thing going on here.  Just enough to complicate matters and make dx difficult.  I do plan to go to a MS specialist soon.  Gathering test results now toward that goal.   MK

I appreciate your comments.  I've read a lot of stories about steroids, and it seems lots of ppl. repsond differently, and I've read others who feel like I do--better AFTER the treatment is done.  It was immediate, the very next day.  I think the steroids themselves were just tough to take.  I wanted to comment about how you said you'd rather not feel better briefly then lose the feeling.  Again, evernone is different, but for me it was really a good thing.  Sure it was a tease, but it gave me hope that this could all go away.  I am obviously very confused lately.  I think the lack of long-term employment is coming to the surface and freaking me out!  Thanks again for your posts.
