Hi KENKEITH - HOW DID YOU GET YOUR Heart EF from 13 to 59 ? My mom has only 10 percent heart function & dr said put her into a hospice. Id rather help her regain heart function if possible ( and if she'll cooperate, which is not certain. She's tired & feels like giving up ) Please email me britesite2

i have fixed up an appointment on 04/8/11 for 256 ct. I am not sure if the calcium score and pulmonary is covered by default or i have to ask them to do that test durign ct. Because my doctor did not mention anything calcium score. Please clarify if you have any idea

Just a quick note to say hi! Cardio Dr told me last I will have a CT scan on the 22nd. I tried to avoid the invasive cath LV is not ejecting properly at rest. Does this mean stents ...? Thank you for your help

Hello. Visited cardio Dr Left ventrical not ejecting while at resting stage. Suggested a cath in leg but they'll do non evasive CT scan. Enter artery if necessary after CT. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for your information. It was very helpful. My Mom' s breathing has become more labored during treasonous activity but otherwise she is fine. We meet with the Surgeon on the 28th to discuss the surgery risk benefits. The Cardio Dr is worried that she will wait too long to do the procedure so we will see. I will keep you posted.

Thank you for your answer to my question. I'm going in tomorrow somewhat relieved. I'm a Vietnam vet and believe agent orange has effected the heart as it's been known to. This is the latest issue from the war plan to overcome. I appreciate you help .

Thank you for taking time to answer my questions i live alone and after a bit of a scare at weekend it was difficult to deal with because i had no one to ask questions to or talk to i cant tell you how happy i am that i found this site, sometimes its just a chat that helps and its a big help to find others inn the same situation, Thank you so much

Thank you for everything! The stats & advice. I decided to say ok to mechanical if needed. had surgery 5 days ago & fortunately the surgeon did a repair. Only on ASA & Toprol. Pain not nearly what I expected. Happy to be home & healing every day! Thanks
