Thanks for the message. I do have time off work, I took a week off (hopefully it will be long enough!) I NEVER thought of taking any meds from work. I worked too long and hard to get to where I am, and now that is why I have to beat this addiction!
The pain is awful!! I have 2 dislocated discs in my back, but I know there has to be other means of feeling better.

Just a quick note to say hi! Hey, how was the vacation? I'm feeling pretty good, still hanging out here. This place does rock. I feel ok, actually took the boat out Sat. and did some fishing, swimming, etc. Nursing a minor sunburn, but heck it was worth it. Welcome back.

Why did that happen? Like I said I didn't hit it 10 times, I posted a note after that saying I did not hit enter 5 times, but I went back to it and it still submitting, must be something up with the site.
I am 50, this past month. I live in Pa. We do not have NA meetings in our town, only one alonon, I did attend it but there was only like 4 people there. I went back 2 x but it wasn't for me. So that is one of the reasons why I turned to the internet.
I am having a bit of hard time figuring posts, forums, etc all out. I am bit slow with the computer.

I have been on my med's for a year now. I take them every 8 hours. I am on 10mg of loratab. On my worst day's I will take 4 sometimes. Along with the disease and loss of usage of your limb there will come depression with the pain. I just went and seen a Psychiatrist for that as well. The diagnosis is hard for doctor's. I had to see a doctor that deals with this disease. There is only two in my state that is familar with this. I had to go thru misery for several months without any medicine until they could find out what was wrong with me. If she can found a good pain managment doctor who understands RSD than she could find out if that is what she has. Does one leg stay cooler than the other? Or redder? Have her tell you all her symptoms. There is so much to this.

Hi RSD is a disease that usually affects the limbs and sometimes the neck area. It's just awful. I have been dealing with it for over a year now. Usually it's a result from injury but he does not have to be. What I take for mine is Zanaflex to relax the muscles and the nerves, neurotine for the nerve pain, lidoderm patches to numb some of the area, and loratab for the pain. Normally the pain is so bad that you are not able to use the limb for well or the area that it is affected. There is redness, swelling, extreme pain, you don't like to have anything against your affected area.

I just come of a valium addiction and that was hard.I never know what to say in these cases because when people say to me it will get better,I just think to myself how is that going to make me fell better, you don't know how I feel right now. Anyway if there is anything I can do to make you feel better or support you just send me a note and I will help you any way I can..I must confess I was worried about you because I didn't quite know how to take your mood (enemy48 is well rested,finally).When I hadn't heard from you I was a bit concerned. I know that you probably are not ok because it is a constant battle to get through each minute of the day .
