You are in my thoughts and prayers. Thinking of you.
Kathy a newcoming to the site. x
Thinking about both you and Ella. Hope she is feeling well and you are enjoying the fall.
Sending lots of postive thoughts.
Just a quick note to say hi! Thinking and praying for you .. Judy
Robin has surgery scheduled to drain her cyst 10/15. I think the cyst burst and is now gone, so I will call her doc Monday. I hope it did. She is pain-free now. I am glad to hear Ella is feeling stronger. My other daughter's gyn wanted me to have the genetic test for brca1 & 2. I avoided doing it because with my family history I did not think the test was necessary to know we are all at increased risk. I had the test done so he could better meet her needs. I am anxious to find out the results. If I do test positive there may be some options for treatment different from regular chemo. Take care and know that you two are never far from my thoughts. Marie
I hope that Ella is doing well. I understand the decision. I knew that I could never do I/P chemo again, even if it was my only option. We know what our bodies can tolerate. I have been worried about my 17 yr old. ER found a 4cm cyst on her right ovary. We go for follow up next week. I wish you both peace and comfort. Love, Marie
My thoughts are with you and Ella. The decision she has made is the right one for her. I hope that she remains pain free and continues to feel better everyday.
Best to you both.
Just a quick note to say hi! I, too, have PPC Stage IIIC. Small spots were left after surgery and I had the IP therapy (not heated, tho). I was diagnosed 6/06 and in 7/07, was put on tamoxifen and it has kept things under control until a few months ago when my CA started to rise. PET/CT next week will determine what is next. At this point, I am over 2 years since diagnosis, and with the help of God, I will have many more years. The same therapies apply to PPC as to OVCA so keep the faith and I will pray for your lovely wife. Judy
Well I should have included you with the Paulas. I am sorry, there are just so many people to keep up with. How is Ella doing? Her pics sure look great. Thanks for changing your mood as it reminded me I had wanted to drop you a note. I like this that you were a Baptist minister and that you have an interest in the psychology of religion. You must be some kind of Candadian Baptist and not a Southern Baptist. I find that subject very interesting myself and it is discussed often at my house. We are the other southern religion, Church of Christ. I would like to know if you have any personal favorites for books on that subject. Hope Ella is well today. Please do an update for us. Kindest Regards, Jan
