I haven't remeasured but my children are young: 8, 6 and 3. They just had their re-vaccinations a couple of years ago. B/c we know the antibody numbers can decline w/o a concomitant decline in protection I don't think its important to re-test once the initial response is detected (following the 3rd shot). Recommendations for a booster vary but I know that some HBV parents like to give one at around age 13 or 14.

Ann8, I've also recently read that boosters are recommended about 14 years later if they are still living with you.

When were your kids vaccinated? Mine weren't titered until years after their vaccines and they turned up as unprotected. Now, they probably were but too much time had passed. To be safe we had the two older ones revaccinated (the baby was actually fine) and had the surface antigen test given to all of them. Then we did the titers in a timely fashion.

Are you currently taking any medication? Also i noticed you are from Singapore? Are you of Asian ethnicity and when did you atually find out you had CHB? Apart from that are you taking any supplements to maintain a healthy lifestyle?

Ann8, did you see the post on the forum re: the regimen from HR?

Hi, Ann. I didn't see your note earlier. I will post a link to the list of supplements taken by gauf over at the Hep C board. He is following HR's recommendations.

Hey,
No side effects since completing my year course of Pegalated Interferon..... I was slightly worried about that but apart from the occasional 'tired' feelings i have been able to work full-time, play basketball and enjoy a healthy life style.... Whats your story?
