My son has the same symptons and I am going to recommend Letrozole to him on our next visit. We did blood
test to see if adrenal glands working ok. He is 10 had has an advanced bone age of 2+ years. No puberty. It
is my job to get him as close to his mid paternal high as possible. Did your son go through treatment with the drug and how did affect him. Was it successful.
I found your post while searching for information about Letrozole for children. My son has been diagnosed with precocious puberty and has been on Lupron injections for about a year. His puberty seems to be suppressed, although we're having to do injections every 3 weeks instead of the usual 4 in order to keep him suppressed. His bone age continues to be advanced and Letrozole (Femara) has been recommended. I am anxious about this, not only because I'm worred about his ultimate height but I'm worried about the side effects, since this would be an off-label use. Did you son begin using it or not? Thanks so much for any help you can give me. ***@****
