Just a quick note to say hi!
Thank you for the note! Yes, teens are a different beast altogether.
Just a quick note to say hi!
I'm glad you had a laugh even if it was at my expense ROFL yes life is funny if you choose to see it that way, which I obviously do. When my mum woke up from ICU one of the first things i said to her was "you still look like a corpse but at least your moving so they wont get confused" um she's naturally pale and being that ill really did make her look like a dead body, she knew it too and in all the fear and chaos it made her laugh. Laughter is not a bad thing in my humble opinion lol
Living, laughing, loving............JJ
Congrats on the promotion in the Neurology Community. You have lots of skills and compassion to share .
Here's hoping you get some bounce back, and soon. I always love seeing you post here - you have a clarity that so many lack in seeing the bigger picture.
Karen you are a wonderful woman! I can't believe you have taken the time to read my journal and respond (just like LuLu did) to make me feel "heard".
You have a knack to make people feel loved, cared for. Are you sure you're no in the health care profession? :D
Thank you lovey! Sending good thoughts your way and hugs!
Thank you for your kind words, Karen. My family got their things loaded on the truck and are on their way to AZ as we speak. I am at my dad's with rest on the agenda until Wednesday when I go for my last increase of meds, staple removal and flight to AZ. I can't wait to see my new home! I have a new center ready and waiting for me to continue my pump management and dose increases, as I am still on a too low of a dosage at this time. I look forward to a better quality of life and firmly believe the Baclofen pump was the right decision for me. Thanks again and I hope all in well with your health and life, as well! Gentle hugs as I am still very sore, Addi
Thank you for taking up for me on that post... I really appreciate it!
Ah yes, to have a little Tigger bounce would be a wonderful thing! ~Mary
Thinking of you and love the "Tigger" pic!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend Karen!
Hugs to you and hope you have a wonderful day.
I joined this forum recently and your note was my first. It was such a nice surprise! Thank you!
I am all better now. It was a bad experience with my LP. While the procedure was not a big deal, the week after was terrible. I ended up in the emergency room; they could not do a patch because I was running a fever and they filled me up with IV caffeine and other things which made the headache just slightly more bearable. I still had to be on my back for about 4 days. With 3 kids and an exam coming up, it was very disrupting. Thankfully it is all better now. I dis not get the test results yet.
Once again, it is so surprising and feels so good to get such a note.
It's really good to see yo uhere. I hope you will stick around for a while and that all is well for you. hugs, L
Just a quick note to say hi & wish you a Merry Christmas & Happy / Healthy New Year
Enjoy & Take Care
I have missed everyone. I posted in my journal a while back with an update. i didn't figure on how fast the forum was moving. it disappeared from the activity almost as soon as i posted it...lol. I hope you have been doing well. I try to drop in and read up but it usually overwhelms me. Drop me a note and let me know how life has been treating you. Hugs, terry Oh I love the avatar :0)
Its good to hear you are lurking and keeping track of us all ... as for DJ she is in a world of hurt, but continues to hope that she will improve.
Just a quick note to say hi! I haven't seen you around for a while. I think of you often and the kindness you showed DJ when she was in the hospital. I hope all if well with you. -L
Thanks for the note. I haven't even logged on in around a month.
Things are ok here. I hope that you are well and enjoying the summer
Thank you for the encouragement....I guess I am just getting tired of all of the tests. They seem to be getting more invasive as we go forward. I am hoping this will be the last major tests...My fingers are crossed.
Thank you for thinking of me! My dr. appt. did not go too well. My PCP seems to think all my test results are good. He is going to follow up with the bad neurologist and get a summary of what he thinks about me. After that he said his office will call me (probably next week) and let me know where to go next. He said probably some blood work. I hope something is done soon. I know I'm not crazy but I'm starting too feel that way. LOL.
I'll keep ya posted! It was sweet of you to remember me.
Hi Karen, let me know on Sat if you come to the symposium. Would love to meet you and say hi!
Hope you feel better soon! So sorry about your accident. ess
Thanks, Karen. It is so sweet of you to mention things like that. It made my day. Q
Just a quick note to say hi! Yeah I must say I feel very ordinary, I can't remember when a flu thing has knocked me about so much, so perhaps that was why I had the weird arm and leg. Thanks for the well wishes. Love your new picture.
All my fatigue flows right into my recliner. How about yours?
It's great to see you around here .....you add such a wise voice to this place. The rains out there are incredible - keep dancing in the rain. As you know these showers won't last forever.
Your blurb made me smile. How great of a day is it to play in the rain with GC. It is a blessing! take care and continue to live well, terry
A big bear hug back at you! Thanks for the note. I really need hugs right now so thanks for sending me a big one.
Sorry you are so tired these days. I hope that you get to feeling better too.
Thank you for everything! I am out of the hospital. Got sprung on Sat :-) Still no real answers aside from the 2 areas of concern found in the MRI. The Neuro said nothing to worry about, that I had the cyst probably from birth but he shut me down when I tried to tell him that I had a clear MRI 1 year 3 mo ago. I'm getting my doc to send me to a diff neuro. Thanks for the note. I appreciate your concern and I will keep you posted :-) Hope you are doing well.
What a sweet note to send! Thank you! Quix
Thank you for everything!
