Thanks for your notes! I have been in the hospital since sunday, and I had to have a echo; it showed I have a atrial septal defect and right sided enlargement. I have to have a pacemaker and they are going to run more tests...gulp....they said I will have to have surgery to correct it. I'm so scared!!! I wish it was just SSS now! My heart rate while I was in the hospital dropped to 33 during the echo; I couldn't hold my head up without getting dizzy and almost passing out. How are you doing?
I just hope that someone can help you. It is really scary at times and just know you are not alone!
Hey! I saw your post and responses about SSS, and I have been newly diagnosed with it this week. I have just gotten back from the ER because I passed out from a HR of 41. I have to go to the cardiologist Monday, but the ER doc said that it was more than likely from my bp medicine, b/c SSS is seen more in the elderly. I'm glad to see that someone close to my age (i'm 26) is having the same thing. I wish you the best of luck with it all....
