Jerry I'm so sorry to hear about your loss of someone so special in your life. Just know that she is beside you, above you, and in your heart and soul until you meet her again. It has been a long time since we chatted. Hope since the passing, you have found some peace. Message me any time. I mean it
Just a quick note to say hi! Not sure if my notes are getting through, but I got one from you today and sent an answer. I am doing okay on Amiodarone and an occasional atenolol. I am in rhythm 95% of the time so I am very lucky. The downside is the Ammio, but they are keeping an eye on all the areas it could affect. I recall that your wife was very ill. My husband is very sick also and it is a very hard dealing with it. I hope you are well. It was so good to hear from you. Sending good wishes, DD.
So sorry to hear about your wife Jerry. you are in my thoughts and prayers
Jerry -- would love to ask you a few questions about Atenolol. Hope you get this. I've had a really hard time getting back on this website. I am in and out of fib, in 90% of the time, on Atenolol and Amiodarone. Seems like it's not a long term solution. Hope you are well. DD
Jerry -- I've had trouble getting onto MedHelp, but I'll try again. I am okay. I am in rhythm 90% of the time on Amiodarone and Atenolol. My husband is very ill and I am being followed after an early lung cancer was treated surgically. I guess all I can say is so far, so good. Things are so crazy around here now, but I do want to get another opinion on having another ablation. My current doctor does not want to do another one because he feels my pacemaker wires will not allow him to get to the spots that still need work. It was good to hear from you and I thank you for the prayers and good wishes. Keep 'em coming please!. I hope this goes through. I have not been able to post to the regular board, guess I'll have to contact the site administrator. I hope all is well with you. DD.
Just a quick note to say hi - Happy Spring!
Just a quick note to say hi!
Jerry -- would you take a look at my recent post on the board regarding my ablation and the aftermath? I feel like I ought to be doing SOMETHING, but maybe not. At any rate, I value your opinion and would be grateful for your input. Thanks in advance, DD.
Hi Jerry...! I haven't read any updates, so....I'm not sure if you still have Jasper or not. But in regards to what type of dog he is, I would say that he definitely is some type of mix. Chihuahua and Pom is what you were told, but it is really had to say unless they know for sure. You are right to think that Chihuahua's have a rounder "tennis ball" kind of head, but that isn't the norm for all Chihuahua's. My first Chihuahua really had the round head, but the chi I have now..well not so round. If Jasper is part Chihuahua, I might guess that he is a Long haired Chi with possibly Pom mix. Whatever he is, he certainly is handsome. I hope that you and your wife are doing well. I will be sure to read a few of your updates. Have a great weekend..!
You didn't mention your age Jerry ( if you don't min my asking)
Jasper is a handsome little dude..! When it comes to housebreaking, I hope he learns quickly, and behaves himself..! Sounds like you are doing a great job of trying to teach him. I think a Pom/Chi mix would be a great lap dog. I have had a few Chihuahua's and they love to cuddle. I also know of a few people who had Pom's and they also loved to cuddle. Jasper might be a great lapdog for your wife. I hope that his fostering goes well, and Jasper will soon be a permanent member of your family..! Best Wishes for all of you...! Connie
Just a quick note to say hi! Jerry.
No we adopted a blond lab mix.

Animals give & love us so much.
Jerry -- went to Cleveland Clinic this week, got some good info. Check out my recent post if you can. I am still in afib waiting for October 1 to see if clot is gone or calcified and I can have my cardioversion. I am having a really hard time with the medication to keep my heart rate down side effects. I pray the cardioversion works -- not sure I can keep on like this. I am not getting much help from my cardio on managing the side effects, in fact, none. So hanging in there and hoping for a successful cardioversion. Guess I'll decide what to do from there if it doesn't work. If you have any more advice, I'm all ears. Thanks in advance, DD.
Jerry -- Still hanging in there. I am going to cleveland clinic next week and hope they will have some advice for when this episode is (hopefully) resolved. I was wary about making the trip, but our son is going with us and many on the forum, as well as my cardiologist here have urged me to go, so will make the effort. Oct. 1 is the date set for another TEE and cardioversion if the clot is resolved or calcified. I have Visiting Nurses coming as well as PT, so am doing all I can to stay strong. My ep and his practice here have been a big disappointment thru this whole episode, plus he is retiring, so I am looking for someone local to replace him. I figure I will need someone here. Thanks for checking on me. I appreciate the prayers and kind thoughts. DD.
Jerry -- again would you read my recent post on the forum re an av node ablation and comment? thanks.
Jerry -- Please check out my recent post on the forum and let me know if you have any input. I'd value your opinion. Thanks, DD.
Just a quick note to say hi!
Just a quick note to say hi!
Thank you for responding to my entry in "Anxiety." I wrote you a reply in the thread...hope you read it. Heartfelt thanks.
Jerry -- Thanks for your prayers and good wishes. I will later when I have some news. For now all is well and outlook is good. Take care, DD.
Jerry -- My lung "spot" turned out to be a neuroendocrine tumor. It is small and the prognosis is good. Lung and/or a return of my breast cancer would have had a much poorer prognosis. Waiting for cancer team to meet and give me recommendations. Options include surgery, chemo (mild) or waiting and watching for 3 months then another PET scan. The doctor is optimistic and thus, so am I. Thought you'd like to hear, if not the end, at least the middle of the story. Hope you are well. Thanks again for your support and advice.
You deserve a big bear hug! Pamela
Sir pls help me out with my question if possible. Thanks
Thank you for your note Jerry. Hope you and your family enjoyed Christmas. Wishing you a Happy and healthy New Year!

I am LOL over here about the dog comment to that guy.
Thank Jerry for you're input.And I go to a pain doc,most don't care.
I had a cardiac cath myself. Kept having chest pain but no clear cause. Funny how they went away after the procedure. At least I know my arteries are clear! :)
