Such great news! What a long, strange trip it's been, lol!! So glad we had each other. ((((HUGS)))) Isobella
You've been on my mind. I hope things are going well for you. I graduate next Thursday......finally going to be a nurse =) I'll give ya a call and we can catch up. Love ya!!!
Just a quick note to say hi
Thanks Lapis, it was a long 6 blood draws 4 ECG, and my first meds, I'm tired, but I think its because of everything leading up to taking the leap. Luckily everyone is very helpful and its a nice little clinic.
Nice to meet you
Thanks for the support! Brain fog is definitely bad......72 pills not 24. Geez I am not thinking well!
Stay warm and off the roads. I'm sick of this weather and looking for warmer territory. Problem is everyone in the south is cold too!
Hi Lapis! Thanks for thinking of me. Just 2.5 weeks to go and I feel like this will never end. Partially I think that since I have acquired hypothyroidism I am just exhausted. Anyway 2 more shots and 24 pills to go, then onto SVR!
Thanks Lapis, you be sure to stay UND. I just love hearing that the dragon has been reduced (to borrow from Lord Macaulay) to "wriggling in the dust.....like a worm beneath the wheel!"
Thank you adding me as your friend. Tippyclubb mentioned your tx to me because I am in a similar situation. Started with SOC for a 4 week lead in, then added boceprevir for only six weeks. The remaining 38 weeks has been SOC only. I am in week 39 now with only 9 weeks to go. I was UND at week 8 and have remained UND since. I was asked by the trial nurse if I would like to quit now. I promptly said no thank you. I am a geno 1 with bridging fibrosis. Tx has been grueling with anemia and dose reductions. I am looking forward to the end shortly. I think it is great you are SVR and are feeling better. You are the first I heard of only doing the PI for only 8 weeks and with a riba dose reduction. Were you concerned you wouldn't SVR?
Just a quick note to say hi!
I just read your May 2009 post where you mention the insurance company not wanting to pay for Zofran. Mine only wants to pay for 12 pills a month, and with my work situation I need one at least every day for work. Did you get that worked out? How?
Sure would appreciate your input.
Thanks Lapis! Is the stress of hepa's ever going to fade?? Yeah, prob...after this year, I'm not going back for myself. XOXO to you, dear friend. Izzy
Hello there, hope everything is going more than well with you. Happy Summer!

Thanks for the drive-by note. Good to hear from you. Sorry I haven't been keeping up. I have most of the usual excuses like work and being busy. I feel fine so there really iis no excuse. Hope you are feeling fine also! - Brent

My drop zones are at Skydive Houston and Skydive Spaceland, both in the Houston area. I have around 600 jumps and look forward to recovering from treatment so I can go at it again.
I started a claim through my work insurance yesterday for short term disability as it has been almost a month since I was able to work. I'm researching some other leads to help with other needs until I can get back to work. I'm hopefull it will be sooner as opposed to later. I don't really sit around and do nothing very well. You have a blessed day and your messages are welcomed.
Howdy! Thanks for the note. I felt good enough today to drive down to the beach with a friend who lived down there just out of Galveston when Hurricane Ike absolutely devestated the whole area. I mean...there was nothing left. Anyway, we got our feet wet and things are beginning to rebuild along the Boliver Peninsula where she'd lived. On the drive I was telling her all about skydiving and how awsome it is to freefall past several thousand feet of cumulonimbis (spelling?) clouds and I was getting that "urge to jump" feeling.
so wonderful hearing back from you! thank you very much for the support you've given me. awaiting to hear your SVR news!
Still waiting =( Confident, tho. Thank goodness for those PCR's I got. Hope you are doing well. Sending the love, Iz
I think it's less than that! Study drug ends on Monday night. I guess I'll take Tuesday morning Riba and find out from study whether to take the last couple days of that or not. My appt. is at noon Tues. Aug 11th. Thanks for thinking of me! Anne
