How are things going with Liam.. I havent been on too much lately just occaisonally check in... Hope all is well

Hey she started sleeping 6-7 hr stretches probably around 6 1/2 weeks and did it everynight consistently until about 8 1/2 weeks (3 nights ago)... she was even doing 7 hrs a night in her playpen which you know has in the past been an issue for us.. last night was not as bad as the other two because she stayed up for two hours when she got up the nights before but last night she went right back down... But she was up at 12 45, 4 12 then 8am, which isnt terrible but it used to be 5 am then 9 30-10am... so it ***** now that i have had better... I have been told it could be a growth spurt on the way as she approaches 9 weeks so here is hoping, it will return to normal because literally for at least 2 full weeks, she was sleeping for 6 hrs at a minimum and then going back down for 4-5 hrs.

hey, im glad things are so awesome.. she is good, also very content baby, starting to smile.. she is 6 weeks now. people are always surprised by how calm she is.. she does need to be held alot, which is taxing and doesnt enjoy her carseat but we took her out twice this weekend and as long as the car is moving she does well.. probably the only time we see her really cry.. she has been sleeping with us lately due to the whole need to be held thing but will sleep in her bed at times for a portion of the night.. she pretty much sleeps from 830pm until 2am then from 230 until 6 then back from 6 to 9. its a good schedule for now

Just a quick note to say hi! have you thought of cloth diapers? will help with the rash and if you kee using them it can help prevent rashes

Congratulations! Time for a celebration... Awesome on the weight loss. I also had my weigh in & if you can believe I had gained 47lbs with my twins & LOST IT ALL!!!!!!! We event went on 2nd scale because the nurse & I were in shock. I am soooo surprised.

Just wanted to say good luck and I hope labor starts soon for you! Its important to try to remember that it can come on suddenly so just because you may wake up feeling normal, you could be in labor by the afternoon.. I hope Liam comes naturally over the next couple days and that things go really well with your labor! I look forward to the birth stories and pictures!

im sorry honey thats horrible, ur baby will be huge by that time, 41 weeks is way to long, I can relate with my second baby they made me wait until 41 weeks and that is unfair to u because i know u feel like is stomach is going to pop anyday!

why are they making u wait so long, the doctors inducded me on 8/26 and my due date wasnt until 8/28? but i was sent to l&d to start the cevidille and then the pitocin on 8/27 and thats the day she was born

Just a quick note to say hi! lol i like your status my doctor told me at 36wks i could start jumping on my trampoline to help start move things along.. if you can find a trampoline you should try that...lol

I feel like all I do is send you notes but i guess its because you are in the exciting stage... I found my contractions on the day of labor, didnt notice the tightenings as much though my stomach would get really hard (it never really felt like it got all that softer in between though) but i wouldnt actually feel the act of tightening like wit BH.. they were more like cramping low down in my abdomen that would come, peak, then die down .. and the pattern developed... They were definitely like 30 mins apart when they first started and slowly (and i mean slowly) got closer and closer together... I really hope you get there soon!

I just breathe through most of mine, having distractions can help.. I will suggest u keep up light meals throughout the day as once you are in labor they dont let you eat.. and it can be long.... i didnt eat for almost 24 hours.... Recovery is going good.. I have dropped 10 pounds so far.... It does get quite painful if you are walking alot but minimal actiity doesnt seem to bad... I dont find it hurts to urinate but bowel movements are a bit uncomfortable... I am not bleeding as much as I would have imagined based on stories... For me, it has been a heavy period for 1 day then a light one... some times i am only spotting, other times it gets a bit heavier as the uterus contracts more.. Just prepare to be busy.. =)

I just wanted to stay my experience with the hospital bag.. Probably dont need to worry too much about clothes or anything... My baby was diaper only the whole time, we dressed her to come home but that was it... I spent most of my time topless too just because the babies love to cuddle bare skin and working on breast feeding... the clothes are cute but in the beginning when they are haing a ton of bowel movements, its so much work to keep dressing and undressing... Swaddle away!

I know like geez, how am I still holding on here.. seems unfair! im going to the OB tomorrow and im sure she will do a check.... hopefully it will give us an idea..i still get the occasional contractions but nothing patterned or regular... Hopefully tomorrow will be a positive news day we will see!...

woot! this could mean that labor may be starting in 24 hours... or it could be weeks but still something to be excited about
