Just a lil note to say hi and wondering how you were doing.

Hi there! No, it was no panic attack. I have suffered those at certain stages in my life, and this was nothing like it. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I sent you a message and thanks again for yours!

Thank you so much for responding to me, I've been needing a friend that I can discuss this with. I really appreciate you reaching out to me.

I thought about the fight or flight thing to but, my heart races when I take medications at home too. It's really weird! This came about very suddenly. Like last month. I've been in the hospital and received all sorts of IVs, shots, even a spinal tap and I've never experienced any anxiety...very confusing...Another symptom I have is I'm suddenly allergic to everything. I've been through 2 acid reflux drugs (Prilosec & Cimetidine) and I've had allergic & adverse reactions to both of them.

Just a quick note to say hi! Hey I doubled check with my hubby on the number of heart beats while asleep, and he said, he thought it was 30 something like 36 or 37

Just a quick note to say hi! Yes, I agree with you, and sometimes when he is sleeping I think he isn't going to breath again for a while. It's pretty scary, but the doctors say it is safe.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I had a bad sinus infection in February when this first started, along with a bad bout of IBS. My doctor thought i was using a nasal spray, which can cause the palps, but I wasn't using anything outside of a saline spray/wash. I've never had episodes of palps before, when they just suddenly came on with a vengence.

want to thank you for your input. I think I've heard of this CoQ10 before. Is it over the counter or prescription med. Yes I have a somewhat systemwide inflammation. I also have lupus. The lupus was one reason I thought I was having problems with the cholesterol meds. I have problems with meds for lupus also, can't take them, they make me sick. Thanks again

Saw your comment about new anticoagulants to replace coumadin in a few years.....can't be soon enough for me. I have been on coumadin for 23 years.....nightmare. I can't really seem to get regulated...now have to have open heart again to repair aneurysm and replace artificial valve.

No problem. Thank you for explaining it. Just wish I could do something. As for my journal...I get chest pains really bad at times but they always seem to ease up w/in a day or so. That one was one of the scarier ones. That put me down for a little bit and made my neck and chest feel bruised. My EKG's always look bad; but, they're just EKG's. I had an Echo done back in ~April of last year that wasn't too bad other than a 20% EF drop in which took it from 73 to 53 but both are w/in range. The numbers don't bother me as much...just all the stupid symptoms that interfere with my life at times. I was told if I get SOB or lightheaded to just slow down or go to the ER that she can't do nothing else. LOL It's put a real damper on hunting, fishing and gardening though.

Just a quick note to say hi! Thank you for your reply. Even if I didn't totally understand. I'm afraid this might be close to the end for him. So sad. Anyhow I was reading your journal. Your BP's looks like mine. They bounce all over. My tracker looks like a roller coaster. I hope you are feeling well. I am also from Pa. and enjoy the outdoors. Though lately with thyroid, heart and possibly fibromyalgia it's hard anymore to enjoy it as I used too. Do you fish? Unfortunately they drained our lake after Ivan. Anyhow just wanted to say thanks and take care. ;~)

Thank you for your comments. You sound quite knowledgable. I was a paramedic for 12 years and thought that I knew everything about cardiology and ECG's. haha! I would gather that the best case scenario would be for my son to take the coated asa and take it on a full stomache. Thank you again for your help. -BA
