I'm glad you're feeling better now, and that the surgery went well. Are you going to be having chemo, or does the doctor feel that he got all the cancer out?
I'm on a chemo break, my CA was 28, but it had tripled since May so the doctor feels that the cancer is still active. My CT scan was clear and we agreed that I should stop Topotecan since with the CA going up, the drug has stopped working.
This month I'm repeating the CA and the CT scan. I'll meet with my oncologist on August 10th and we'll go over the results and decide on a new plan
In the meantime, I've been off chemo for 7 weeks and it has been wonderful, I hope it continues for a while longer.
Take care of yourself, and I hope to hear from you soon. It's wonderful that your faith in God gives you such strength.
How are you doing, I haven't seen you post in a while. I hope you're feeling ok.
It's really comforting when we can support each other and chat with someone who understands what we're going through.
Say hi when you're ready, and I hope you're feeling well.
Hi Natalie, I hope you feel better soon, take something for the pain and get a good night sleep.
Now that we've accepted each other as friends on MedHelp, and you know my name, what can I call you. besides "a little scared "?
I hope you're doing better today, waiting for test results, or surgery is so unsettling, and frightening. We just have to take things one day at a time and not let our mind race ahead. I know that's hard, but we can make ourselves crazy with "what if".
I got my mammogram and vaginal biopsy reports back and thankfully they were both negative for cancer, I was so relieved.
Let me know if I can be of any help to you, or if you just want to chat.
I hope you saw my reply to your post, if not please go back and read it, I advised you to start a new thread, most of the women on the forum read the new questions and you'll get several replies, I'm sure.
I understand that you're concerned and frightened and we'd like to support and help you.
Hang in there, and if you get a chance, fill in your profile, what state you live in and something about yourself and your medical condition. That's how we get to know each other. Be well, Jane
