Did you try getting international insurance (from India) ?
Otherwise, next door Switzerland may have few insurance companies with few strings attached.
I am surprised why they refused to insure you - just because of chronic hep-B.

Noticed you are absent for a while. Hope everything is fine...

Nice comment :)
I live in US [last 18 years], I will try to find Tulsi tea. We have Tulasi plant in my house, may be just pluck few leaves and use them for now.
Before starting Viread, I nearly had a panic attack, looking at potential side effects (reading horror stories online). My doctor said it is not common and people with compromised immune systems are more prone to the side effects. He suggested Viread, as it is recommended as first line of defense and twice effective than Baraclude, which is another first line recommended drug.
Happy to see and bberry very active. Thanks!

Just a quick note to say hi!
Sharp7 - you seem to be someone with lot of knowledge in this area. So I request you to add me as a friend.
I am from south India and like to try some of the Ayurvedic treatments. I am not sure where/when I got HepB. Most likely as a child. I am HBeAg -ve, and feel just normal. I had my regular visits here in US for the past 8 years. My AST/ALT were elevated this year (I thought due to stress). But it turned out I am HBsAg +ve.
Anyway please let me know about Tulsi tea - I would like to try it along with my current treatment (VIREAD). I was horrified when my doctor precribed VIREAD - which is actually HIV drug. But he calmed me and explained don't look it that way.
Thanks!
