Hi!I am a 21-year university student.I have a big problem~bad smell from nose.Very bad smell!I have had it for 5 years and I can't smell it .It let my life so hard.I found it diffucult to contact people.I don't konw where it had come from.During the dark 5 years,I have met several ENT doctors and made CT scan. But there is nothing, all is well except chronic rhinitis .No nasosinusitis and atrophy rhinitis .I had some medicine including Chinese medicine and washed my nose by salt water. It is still there. My nasal mucus flows backwards and sometimes I feel my nose dry. There is a notice that 5 years ago,I once lived with my sick pet dog in a room. She had an unpleasant smell.I don't know whether there is a connection. Please help me.Thanks!

I finnlly got an appointment setup for the doc and will be going in this friday.  May sound dumb but I was watching a re-run of "House MD" and heard something.  It may be something in my brain... again it sounds dumb but hopefully the doc can start me on a path of resolving the problem.

Hi, I have bad breath most of the time for as long as I can remember (since around age 18) and sometimes it is really bad and at other times not too bad. I first started noticing tonsil stones age 18 when I coughed quite a large one up, although over the years the stones are seeming to become less and less & if there are any they must be lodged deep and out of sight, although I am convinced the stones are contributing to my bad breath. I have seen the doc over the years and he gave me anti-biotics and told me my tonsils were fine. I could have more than one cause, and wonder if allergys or post-nasal drip are contributing. Post-nasal drip is linked to the formation of the stones, also my nose is not always as clear as it should be hence allergys maybe. And surgery is no guarantee.
