it isn't exactly the northern virginia area but Dr. Mark Sivieri in Laurel, Maryland is supposed to be excellent. I recently started seeming him and so far so good (but since I'm not yet fixed I can't give my own personal recommendation to how great he is). He has offices elsewhere in Maryland and I think some of them are close to DC. I should note that he's really hard to get an appointment with, but it's worth a try and he has a nurse assistant who can usually take people sooner and she knows all of the basics and consults with him. His office also might be able to recommend someone. Good luck!
glad to hear that your lyme is getting better....was wondering if you ever found a good lyme doctor in nova. also I am interested in getting the name of a infectious disease doc that might have some experience treating lyme. I am not at all happy with the guy I am seeing and am getting ready to have to get a pic line and would rather find someone that I feel better about to oversee that treatment. Would really like someone who takes insurance. Would appreciate and advice and/or referrals.
First of all, I hope you are doing much better.
I am also seeking an LLMD in the northern VA
area and I am having a really tough time. If you have any information at all I would appreciate it. Thanks and all the best!
leila zachrison is the only doc that comes to mind. i would have gone to see here except she needed me to come in once a week. get well soon!
