Pecans are loaded with fiber and heart-healthy monounsaturated fats. There’s no doubt they’re a good-for-you food, even if they’re high in calories. But pecan pie is also traditionally made with butter, brown sugar and corn syrup, bringing it to a whopping 503 calories per serving. The same size slice of pumpkin pie clocks in nearly 200 calories less, at 316.
