bozzie10 What are you eating? If it's processed low fat crap then that's been your problem.  Go back to traditional real foods. See the Swiss Diet

Mike_Regan6 Hi I used to eat a lot of carbohydrates and vegitable oils and now I think these were a big part of the problem my glycated haemoglobin (A1C test) was about 5.5 and the hospital in Zurich said that was high enough to say I was type 2 diabetic.

Mike_Regan6 I've moved my diet to high fat very low carb so that the insulin resistance might be repaired and my energy requirements met by Ketone bodies instead of Glucose.Its gotten rid of the spare tyre in the photo (4" off waist) and reduced my weight by 12kg
