About Me: Male, 79, Cleveland, TN, member since Oct 2007
I am a semi-retired minister. Most of my ministry was served as a pastor of churches that averaged about 50+/- adherants. I resigned the pastoral ministry at age 62 and retired, or at least started social security, less than a year later at age 63. Shortly thereafter
[More], I discovered that some of the physical problems I was experiencing were probably related to the hepatitis-c virus that was discovered when the doctor gave me a complete physical. I was pretty much inactive in most all things for the next year and a half, but am now doing fine. I have recently returned to a somewhat active role in ministry. I am now a staff member of the church that I was pastoring when I retired.
I was born in Florida, lived in Tennessee and Louisiana and am now back in Tennessee. My wife, Janis, was born and raised in Louisiana. We have four children; one boy and one girl by my first wife (deceased) and one girl and one boy by my present wife. As of June 1, 2008, we will have been happily married for 35 years. Janis still teaches school and is looking forward to retirement, hopefully in a two or three more years.
