I was diagnosed with papillary cancer on July 4, 2008. I had a total thyroidectomy on August 6. I am married to the love of my life and we have two dogs (rescue dogs, a Pointer and a Terrier mix) who are our babies.

Hi Deb,
Sorry I haven't been in touch for a while. I've been dealing with health problems, namely high blood pressure and tachycardia (which have become pretty bad since my surgery). I'm on an alpha-beta blocker, but of course the side effects make me feel even worse (although I have to say, my heart isn't beating out of my chest!). Anyway, I hope you are feeling well. I do so appreciate that you care and take the time to see how I'm doing. (((hugs))) from me too!
