I saw you post of last January about the problems you were having with your IT Band and so on. I understand that you've been advised your thyroid tests are "normal" but a lot of hypothyroid people have been told exactly that over the years, particularly if they have autoimmune antibodies. I suggest you find a thyroid-centered group and post your old lab results for comment. There's no point in suffering needlessly, and your symptoms are pretty clear.
Stress depletes magnesium. Serum magnesium is not a reliable indicator of intracellular magnesium levels. RBC magnesium test is better, but still not great. Also check vitamin D and shoot for 60ng/mL or more.
