Hi, how are you doing? I haven't been on MedHelp for awhile. My AF came this past Tuesday, exactly 5 weeks after my D&C. I'm going to be TTCing again.
What about yourself? Are you physically back to normal? What about emotionally? It's been hard for me, but I think I'm over the major hurdle.

Hi, I'm sorry we both had to go through one. I had my D&C on Wed. Sept. 9 so it will be 2 weeks tomorrow. I was 7 1/2 weeks but baby did not grow from 5 days earlier and only measured 6 w 2 days with no heartbeat. The nurse told me to abstain from sex and physical activities for one week and to expect spotting for up to 2 weeks. I am still spotting. I want to TTC again. I have heard of women on this forum who have conceived right after they miscarried but I am afraid to try this cycle because I want to make sure my lining is built up. So I will TTC after I get my AF, which I expect 4-6 weeks after the D&C.

Sorry about all this and especially the doctor. It's hard to forget when you sense insensitivity. Sometimes you are dying to get your scan and they are ordering lunch. To them it is a day at work. To us it is hopes and dreams. Of course when you get good news, it's like "No problem, eat your salad girls." But you have to feel like you are getting good care or else you will worry about that as well as TTC. I've been through this 3 times and all I can say is that your desire to have a baby will pull you through.
