It wasn't until I came to terms with the fact that I was an addict that I was able to get some control back in my life. Admitting I had no control over the drugs was the start.
I know it is only by staying away from them - that I can get my life back.
hang in there
We could be the same person - from the alcohol, food - right down to being self employeed and my spouse knowing nothing.
I have tappered down - from over 20 per day to 3. C/T didn't work for me - I couldn't be out of commission that long.
It hasn't been easy - and I've made a lot of changes.
Feel free to send me a message if you want to "chat"
Hang in there - it can be done
Hello Maxx...I just read your post. Being a mom of a young child will be the reason you can do this. Start to taper very slowly. Tell your husband what's going on. I have a feeling he will help you. He has to know what's up because as you taper your not going to feel so good. The good thing is you sound like your ready to make a change. So go for it..Look up the Thomas reciepe and read it. It will help with the tapering. I wish you all the luck in the world. We have all been through this and most of us have come out on the other end doing pretty well. Next year this time you will be helping someone else on this site...Peaceful wishes from California..
