Hi,
I had my 3rd treatment of Gemzar today. My blood counts were surprising still holding, he increased the dose and we'll see how I do as the week goes on.
He also geve me a Rx for lymphedema massage therapy to try and get the lymph fluid moving up toward the lymph nodes to drain.
I hope you're doing ok, with your chemo, I know side effects can be rough.

Oops, it's a 4 member group of oncologists, where did my fingers come to 54? That would be a humungous number of doctors!

Thank you for answering so quickly, I get my treatments and see my oncologist at one of his group's offices in NJ. It's a 54 member oncologists/hematologists group. I've seen all of them over the past 2 1/2 years and was impressed with each one, so I'm comfortable there. The oncology nurses are awesome, and caring and I see the same ones every treatment.
We talk before the Dr. comes in and they know me and my case.
What chemo, or chemos have you been on, it sounds like you've gotten excellent care, and that's what counts most!
