I too, rely on my oldest daughter for a lot of things. She is 16 and without her, things would be much worse around here. My 16 year old is the one who helps me clean this house mostly. The other two girls are 7 and 9 and are not so little anymore. The 7 year old can be demanding when she is tired. I spend most of my time resting on the bed or couch. It drives me absolutely crazy to be so inactive. I miss running and exercising terribly. I would love it if I could walk around the block or bike downstairs on the bike stand. Something would be nice. I just bought myself an Ipod touch, so that has been keeping me pretty busy lately and I try to keep my mind off the pain as much as possible. It has not been easy.

Welcome to our community! I use to run also. I'd run 36 miles a week and it all ended one night while I was playing with my girls. I herniated 3 discs in my neck and had spinal cord compression. I'm so sorry your in this pain. I know how you feel. I have yet to manage my pain.
