So per ARUP you weren't out of normal range? ARUP is a lab? I tried to look up information on it. Had you fasted? Did they protect it from light? I was tested for nearly one year before the techs discovered I should be fasting. Even the docs didn't know. Please don't restrict your diet. Your body needs the nutrition, and I can't imagine you would have a problem with natural B6. I made that mistake, and I don't want you to. I, too, had a 'trigger' that started my symptoms. My grown daughter sat on my lap and it hurt the nerve in my left leg. Tingling started, numbness, etc... Blamed it on that for a while. I had many tests to rule out other things as well. It's peace of mind if nothing else. ANA, MS, EMG, MRIs... What part of the country do you live in? I'm in Colorado.

My understanding is that B6 toxicity causes nerve damage--peripheral neuropathy. I definitely experienced exactly that. I don't know of it causing anything else. Nerve damage can present itself in many different ways, but peripheral nerves can heal. I think it is very rare for permanent damage to occur from our toxic levels. I know I have healed so much these past two+ years. My level (87) was quadruple where it should have been (range 2.1 - 21.5). You said you were at 98+ but did you say that was in range? Up to 125?? How was that measured? Must be a different system than my doctor's office. My daughter read me posts in 2011. One patient had a level of 66 and three years later the last symptom went away. I am very sorry to hear you are not feeling too much better. Before they finally diagnosed me with B6 toxicity, I was sent to neurology for a painful EMG test and two MRIs. I found out that my back is in pretty good shape for my age, but my neck has disc degeneration. The unnecessary EMG test showed sciatic abnormalities. Duh... We would have just not known and could have lived blissfully ignorant of our issues. Perhaps it's a good thing, but now I don't run, do aerobics, play sports. Definitely changed my behavior. Do the docs think there is something else going on? Nerve damage can do so many crazy things to our bodies. My other labs were normal, although some were on the low end of normal range. D3 and B12. I get prescription supplements now--don't trust OTC.
