How ironic...I also work on a housing program. I work with local landlords to encourage them and support them in designating a percentage of their apartment buildings or properties as low income. So I serve families and singles living in shelter to get them into permanent, safe and affordable housing. It's based on the housing first model. So I work closely with folks like you in helping them with financial supports, etc. Wow, you and I have an awful lot in common it seems. We are the same age as well! I am hoping for another healthy pregnancy sometime this year, so hopefully soon we have that in common as well! I love talking to people who share my passion for ending poverty and homelessness. Good for you for doing what you do! Prevention is the key to the whole issue.
