My injured eye is still very tender to the touch, but this doesn't bother me much because not a lot of things touch my eye. The dry eye was a real problem for a while and after about a year, I tried a medicine called Restasis. This helped me produce more tears and I used this in both eyes for about a year, and eventually weene myself off of it. Ever since, my tear production has stayed up so I don't need the medicine anymore. Eventually your eye will get better and go as far to normal as it can. If you injury was recent though, I'd still give it time to heal and not do anymore medicines. Give it about 6 months of healthy eating, getting plenty of rest, and trying to stay positive. After that, if something's still wrong, then I would look into alternatives.

Hey again. I already wear prescription glasses for near-sightedness, so if I wanted to improve my visions seeing up close, I could get a bifocal lens in my injured eye but the doctors didn't recommend it. When I need to read up close, my good eye takes over and I still read pretty well, but that's only a problem with very small print, of which most older people can't see anyway.

No problem, just keep in mind it took me a LONG time before I started to improve, but I did improve a lot and my life has almost gone completely back to normal. Stay tough, stay positive, and things will come around for you. Just need to have faith and it will all come back together, no matter what. :)

You need to take the time be mourn because it's a terrible injury that people don't understand, but trust me, it gets A LOT better. There are famous people that have fully blown mydriasis and are still very successful people. It's a terrible injury but if you're anything like me, you will be almost back to normal, you just have to give it time.
Like I said, take some time and read the entire post front to back and you will see how I progressed from not being able to go outside or stare at my computer screen, to now having almost no problems. You will too
