About Me: Female, 40, Kansas City, MO, member since Mar 2011
We were so blessed to conceive after our first IUI (after three years of TTC) and thank God for our daughter Morgan! She is so sweet and the light of our lives! We are expecting surprise baby #2 in August 2013 now -- completely were not planning it and can't believe it
[More] happened this way but so excited!
Our story: We had been TTC since we were married in February 2008. I was nearing 30 and had never been pregnant before and had one blood test say my FSH levels are too high. My husband also found out the shape and motility of his "swimmers" were not where they should be. Doc prescribed Femara for me (I took 6 rounds of Clomid with no success) and antioxidants and vitamins for my husband. We had our first IUI done on March 29, 2011 and hoped this would give us the BFP we'd been waiting for for so long. On April 12th, 2011, I took a HPT and it was positive for the first time in my life! I was so blessed to carry the baby and deliver a healthy little girl!
God bless all of you going through similar experiences and I hope I can be there for you if you need someone to talk to about this sensitive issue. :)

"I noticed the having to pee a lot more (especially in the middle of the night) before I got my BFP but I didn't put it together until after I had the BFP (or maybe I just didn't want to get too excited). When are you testing? I don't w..."
