Welcome to Medhelp and the Living with 'an Alcoholic Community. i'm glad you found this site while you are young. It is a great place to reach out for every stage of your life. Living at home is only one stage. You might talk to a therapist about how you feel about your dad's alcoholism, maybe a school counselor. You could tell them you want to make sure that you don't bring the dysfunction in your own life you are building, and into your own relationships. Co Depending No More is a book that is often suggested to those growing up in a Co dependent or alcoholic home. Understanding Co dependence is your best bet for a solid happy future. I'm here if you ever want to talk.
