About Me: Male, 90, Granville, OH, member since Mar 2012
An over-full life, still working but toying (again) with retirement. Many interests, forced to focus these days heavily on beating some autoimmune disorders including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, maybe chronic fatigue syndrome, maybe Fibromyalgia, ADD, and su
[More]spected Lyme disease. Refuse to accept that I have been handed multiple disability/death sentence and told "too bad, so sad." Deep into nutrition also --- the natural unprocessed stuff.
I'm always looking for others interested in people looking for CAUSES of diseases Main Stream Medicine says are unknown, and they're not looking for causes. (Oh yes, they're spending billions on "cures" but that's not the same as looking for the causes.)
I'm rich in family and friends, including deep into a new venture of "host parenting" a couple of international college students --- great for continuing to think and act young. Also great believer in physical activity --- can't run much, thanks to the arthritis, but that doesn't eliminate a lot of life outdoors, including some heavy stair climbing.
Just a quick note to say hi! I'm sorry it's been over a year since you sent me a note asking about herbals that got rid of the floaters. The herbal I used was Eyebright, however, plantain contains 5x the active compound, aucubin. I still have floaters in my left eye. But they don't move or grow, I've stayed on herbals, a lot of different ones as I live in the middle of 6000+ acres of woodland. I know the one I need is out there, maybe something not generally recognized as medicinal, but I'll find it.
