It sounds as if you should consult an eye MD Your optometrist may know of a good one, who can dilate your eyes and shine a light and examine the retina or back of the eye. I first saw an ophthalmologist who sent me to a retina specialist. Sometimes these things get worse, other times they stay the same for a long period of time, which I hope mine does. Good luck.
Hi, Did you get to see a an eye doctor and have it looked at? My new floaters, still there, are 2 kinds - one a small round bundle if of strings that goes rather fast up and down in the left periphery of my left eye, and a grey colir. The others are large whip-like hanging globs of vaseline that hang in front and then swing to the side and only then can I see clearly. Those swinging vaseline ropes are in my other eye also. Guess it is the vitreous jelly... Annoying to have these things. I am not sure if these floaters are expected to "sink to the bottom" at some point and no longer obstruct clear vision. I am still learning..!
