About Me: Female, 34, danville, KY, member since Jan 2008
I am a 21 year old mother who has never experienced any major health issues until after pregnancy, which was by c-section. I have since been diagnosed with hypothyroidism with a ths level of 400. That was the highest my doc has ever dealt with and he put me on levothyro
[More]xine. I am now in the waiting period to see if my thyroid will get back to normal. I have also been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and have been put on tramadols for that which are helping. I feel like a old person with arthritis or something and i dont feel that people take me or my health issues seriously just because of my age. But why would i make it up I hate taking meds, I hate alll my health issues and i would love nothing more than to just wake up and feel like i used to without any medications. Other than fibromyalgia and hypothyroidism I have some strange gastrointestinal issues going on. I have been told that it is IBS, but i feel like something more is going on. I eat plenty of fiber, and I am constantly constipated, which i know is a symptom of hypothyroidism, I never feel like i am done passing stools after i am finished. I also have bad hemmeroids, and everytime i pass a stool unless it is diahrea I have to strain very hard, and I notice blood from the hemmeroids when i wipe. And atleast 2-3 times a week i find blood in my stools. I also randomly have EXTREMELY BAD cramps that feel worse than my contractions did when i was in labor. They are usually followed by bad diahrea, heart palpitations, anxiety and somewhat a loss of bladder control. the cramps occur atleast once a week on a good week and 3 time or more on a bad week. and have been going on for over a year and happen out of nowhere.I have not been able to figure out what is causing them or triggering them. If anyone has any advice on my Gastro intestinal issues or anything else I would REALLY appreciate it.
