"Hi there. I am back with a new concern although I have been told that nothing will happen but I just wanted to get more help. My father washed out a kettle with bleach and hot water with soap. I use the kettle to boil water for drinki..."
Just wanted to let you know I can relate. If you ever want to talk, you know where to find me. When I first even thought of traveling I would freak out. Could I get a hold of a dr. I would usually make excuses. I was worried, like I still am about my shunt and my headaches. They are so by bad why go anywhere. My family won't let me be a hermit. :) I hope this look up for you.
Just a quick note to say hi! I know what it's like to be concerned. I take so many meds I get a little concerned. One time I went across country with my church group realized I didn't have enough of a very important med. We sat at CVS for a while, yes I was in tears, but I got my medication. But since then I don't worry so much, I even went to New Zealand. The only thing I'm afraid to do is a mission trip.- I do think of my shunt failing sometimes.
Now you can challenge yourself to take a little longer trips. Only if your up to it.
Just a quick note to say hi! go on your trip. I have had a shunt. I had to have it revised, because I got to big for it. I lastsd me 16 years. If you got a CT scan and its ok you should be fine. Shunt do last, if you are worried call your dr. just to make sure . I've taken lots of trips with my shunt.
