Just a quick note to say hi!
I teach preschool and checked out a book of Q+A about some of these issues- I will get the title and author later if you want it- they said to try this if you think there is a control issues with toileting?:
It is called natural consequence_ the parent or caregiver never fusses about it just calmly says - you get one pir of underwear a day- when a child wets- tell them to get a shower put on their robe and their day is OVER- not really bedtime because it could be noon- but no more playtime- give them little chores to do around the house, no computer or tv- they can go in their room and read a book but no more outside play or whatever you know SHE LOVES. The thing is - adults cannot control a child's toilet sleeping or eating- so we give natural consequences.
