Hi Tom, seeing another E.P. today. I have an inherent distrust of doctors, I had seizures for 19 years before they figured out what was going on. Medicated, 19 years worth of suffering went away over night. Later, I had the feeling of a lump in my throat, family Dr. said tension. I also had the swallowing induced arrhythmia at the time, a single PVC with each swallow. So I saw my cardiologist, DX Vagal Response; GI Doctor, who said the Vagus nerve had nothing to do with it; and my Neurologist that said he doesn't do Vagus Nerves. I protested, he ordered a CT, Vagus Nerve OK, but I had lumps in my Thyroid (discovered on the CT). Cancer, and the Thyroid was removed. The first E.P. only wanted to ablate. If I could reduce the frequency with meds I'd be happy. Thanks for the encouragement.
Hi Tom, how's things going. Drop a note anytime if you have issues. I'm seeing the E.P. on Tuesday, but they're fitting me in at the end of the day, so I don't know what to expect. The other surprising thing is that the doctor is a D.O. that specializes in Electrophysiology. D.O.'s are M.D.s that specialize in holistic medicine. I was surprised that an online search for Electrophysiologist D.O. show a lot of them.
I post on HealingWell ******* in several forums as JungRulz, the moderators here are kind of particular. (I keep getting emails from the moderators on MedHelp, i can't do this, don't do that. I tried writing to the CEO of MedHelp, but essentially he said it is what it is. They don't want links here, especially to competitors, but HealingWell doesn't care, you can imbed links, just not to advertisements or studies. Have you tried HealingWell? MedHelp has more activity on the Heart forum though. If I'm not here, I'll be there. Best wishes.
