Hi Mark, Nina is so fortunate to have you walking with her through this. For myself, the lack of sleep caused largely by RLS was the absolute worst. We can get by without much sleep for a day or so, but it sort of builds. You might suggest Nina try drinking lots of tonic water with quinene. There is also a product called "Hylands Retful Legs". She will need to take LOTS of those though. I don't think one can O.D. from them. You might also talk with her doctor about a drug called gabapentin. It's specifically intended for neurological pain and I don't believe that she woulds build up tolerance or become addicted to it. Good luck. Fred
