ADHD???

We have a 7 yrs old son. He is autistic diagnosed when he was 4 yrs. He does not have any verbal communication, only have 4/5 words. He understands some sign language and he is going to IEP for full time student. There are no improvements last two years. Sometimes we see very little improvements and again reverse the previous behavior. During the day he spins around the room and spitting whenever he excited. Recently we took him to the Neuro Behavior Pediatric; he has given for Risperdal for 0.25 once a day for 1 week after that twice a day. We are too much worried about him for the right treatment or doctor. Whenever we try to teach or talk with him about something he becomes a hyper and does not listen. He likes to hug and tickle of his body. If anyone have any suggestions this would be highly appreciated.
