Bad Behavior feels good

My 14 yr. old son has been diagnosed with Adhd-Inattentive and anxiety disorder.  He misses school several days at the time because he says that there are days when he knows that he can't be good and follow the rules.  When he does go to school he does well.  He's on Lexapro in the evening and Invega in the mornings.  He has always contended that just letting it all loose just feels good ( such a relief).  I don't understand this. Could there be something else going on here?
