Warning about NSAIDs

I am putting this in our group as well because I know alot of us take NSAIDs  to help keep us in recovery.So here is the thing there are many of us dealing with chronic daily pain I am one of them .I don't take over the daily amounts but I do take them daily .I have been having alot of problems lately with gastro problems one off them was acid reflux last week it started come up with blood .This was not the only problem but the rest I am not going to go into detail with.So they did a scope today come to find out along with a problem that needs to be fixed from having my gallbladder removed the anti inflammatory has contributed to bleeding erosion's in my stomach So be careful with the Motrin and Aleve and things like Mobic,Voltaren they can be very serious if u ignore it..Now for me will have to be Tylenol or my muscle relaxers ..

worried ohhh I garentee it did .I am hoarse as well alot of the time .

I was also diagnosed with esophageal reflus 6 months ago...i had no symptoms just a hoarse voice...the acid had damaged my vocal cords..it is getting better with meds and time.  I had been on NSAIDS for years..not constant but more on than off due to chronic pain.  I am sure this contributed to it..and I want my old voice back!

It is isnt it. I was telling a friend of mine how ironic its is I take naproxen so I can deal with the pain without the damage of narcotics now I am in more pain because of the drugs that help me stay off the nartocs.

My understanding is that they can also cause rebound pain when taken regularly and stopped.  I know that applies to Ibuprofen, not sure what else :(
