Adderall Shortage!?

I went to the pharmacy where I usually get Adderall (generic 15 mg tab) last week.  They said they’d order it for me.  They called me a few days later saying that the distributor couldn’t supply it in a timely manner.  So, I thought I’d try some other pharmacies and everyone is out.  They all say they’ve been getting tons of calls for it for the last few days.  None of them know when they will get more, and they’ve told me that their suppliers/distributors don’t know either.  

I’ve checked Pharmacies all over the South Bay area of Los Angeles, Long Beach, Torrance and surrounding cities.  If anyone in southern Los Angeles County has filled this prescription in the last few day’s I’d really like to know where, so that I can fill this before I run out.

Also, is anyone else having this problem anywhere else in the country?  Could this be the start of another shortage?

My son gets meds from a company that sends them through the mail, Exact Care, I guess there are other companies out there that do the same, google, until you find the answer, good luck

Wow, I was surprised to see my old thread pop up again.  

It seems like different regions experience periodic shortages at different times.  It's not just the three of us.  

It took me about 3 weeks to find a pharmacy with my dosage.  A few days later, I noticed a new thread where several people from Ohio couldn't find the exact dosage and brand that I'd just filled.  I've never really payed attention to brand; I guess some people think it makes a difference.

Fortunately, everyone does seem to be finding it eventually.  I haven't seen anything like 2011.

Keep letting us know where the shortages are :)

Florida has the same shortage of almost all brands except for the Corepharma brand which gives me terrible side effects.
