Fish oil

I have heard that fish oil can help children with ADHD. Has anyone one heard of it or used it? I don't want to put my son on medication I have seen what it does to him.

I can not believe the difference in my son after changing his eating habits and giving him the fish & the vitamin C tables. I will never go back to giving my son the hard drugs.
I have seen the big difference in him.

It was not said sarcastically it was was humor, heard of it?,I havent a sarcastic bone in my body and certainly anyone who has read my posts would know I do not take the welfare of children lightly enough. to be sarcastic, you seem to have a problem.

I am unsure if you are being sarcastic or not. it  it is fruit smoothie  flavor and doesn't taste like fish at all. it was made for children in mind that can not get a huge fish oil tablet down. I am unsure who manufactures it but it is about $20.00 a bottle. you can also get a flax seed one as well.

Wow a really healthy ,Fishy , Smoothie , thanks nunu you lightened the heated subject with something Sweet and good for us, now I am going to run out to try it.

I haven't read all replies to your post but to your childrens fish oil question... there is a health store down the road from me that self fish oil as a fruit smoothy. you take one tablespoon a day. I apparently tastes really good too. maybe try the health store around you.

My 8 year old stepson has ADHD. when he moved in with us we put him on fish oil and attentive child (from GNC) they both helped immensely with the hyperactivity but not enough with the attention side of it. He was doing so bad in class at school that we are now trying Strattera. its only been two weeks and only a little improvement so far.
