Celexa and Adderall...

I currently take 60mg Adderall XR once a day and recently my Dr. added Celexa 20mg once a day..Anyone have any experience with that combination?I noticed yesterday for about five minutes my hearing wasnt as good..then that went back to normal..this is after adding the celexa..Adderall never did this..I also now have diarrhea where with only the Adderall I only went once a week...but Adderall makes me not hungry at all...not till after 6 pm..and I noticed that now with the celexa I'm even less hungry.I started Adderall in november.I was a size 12 and now I'm a 4...I am 5"6 and now weigh 126 which is fine for my height..but I don't want to go any lower..any suggestions? Oh and I just started the celexa three days ago...

Thanks for your response!yeah my weight has started to become easier to manage and I've stayed the same for the past three weeks..which is a big improvement..I was just worried that with the diarrhea and feeling less hungry on the celexa I might start losing again..I work at home and I am a hairless guinea pig breeder but I have two special needs kids and they are twins...plus I have a older child..and when they get home at 4 I need to concentrate to help them do their homework...it's so hard for the  twins as they were born very early and they struggle so much...so it does work out medicine wise that way.and the dr does know about me only going once a week but because I never had trouble when I did go and all my bloodwork has been normal he didn't act too concerned...even my blood pressure has been normal....but I do try to eat the healthiest things possible but I don't skip dessert!!:) also before Adderall I still only went twice a week so once wasn't so bad..thanks again for your response!

Well, diarrhea is listed as a side effect, but it seems to be fairly rare - or at least not that big of a deal because it really is never mentioned in detail.
I do think that you should work on stabilizing your weight.  You mention that Adderall doesn't make you hungry until after 6, which would suggest that it stays in your system till then.  That can be tweaked by your doctor.  Chances are in your work, that by around 3 (?), you don't need the med as much?  Its pretty easy to adjust meds to do this, if you work with your doctor.  Until then I would think that you might want to consider supplementing your diet with something like Ensure.  You can gulp it down on the run.  But, I would definitely cool it down first.
Do google Celexa to learn about it.  It does take awhile to get used to it and for it to start working.
Oh, and by the way (and not trying to get personal here), going once a week  (while very convenient) doesn't seem real healthy to me.  Do mention this to your doctor.  It really makes me think that its time for you to take a good look at your diet.  Best wishes!
