So ashamed

I am 31 years old. I have never been abusive. However for the past few months, I do not know what is wrong with me. I can't control my anger, and if my boyfriend says something that makes me angry(which these days is everything) I will almost black out and during this I push/hit on my boyfriend. and I try to tell myself to calm down and its like the more I try to calm down the more angry I get.
I know this is NOT okay. I am NOT okay with this happening. I do not know myself anymore. I need help

this could be so many things, that the first step would be blood work and maybe even ct scan of your head and neck for good measure.
sudden, drastic personality changes are not something you want to let slide.  at least you noticed it and realize there is something wrong.
you are NOT going crazy.  there is something wrong.  could be thyroid or other hormones, but i would get checked from head to toe
