How to stop these small scars?

Hi, I am 22 years old and have had recurring acne since my early teenage years. Last year I started to develop small scars, specially below the sides of my mouth, that are not were I've had bumps or blackheads, they simply appear on my skin and have been, though slowly, constantly spreading. These scars are somewhat circular, not very deep but visible, and about one tenth of an inch or slightly smaller. I have no idea how to stop them from appearing or to how to treat them. Any help is appreciated!
