Lumps on face and neck and occasionally the body

I have red boils/spots that won't squeeze, mostly on my face and neck. They are quite painful. I also occasionally get them elsewhere on my body. They will not heal, regardless of whether I leave them alone.  The only way they will heal is if I look in a magnification mirror so I can see each fine hair follice.  I then get a needle and tweezers and almost perform an operation to get out the tiny white beads that are wrapped around the base of every fine hair follicle. These beads are pin prick size and hard. I don't think they are milia as they don't show on the surface; they are deep under the skin. When I was younger I had the odd spot that would pop, but these are jump red lumps that will keep crusting over, but just won't heal unless I get out every single tiny foreign substance. I've had the condition for years but it is suddenly getting worse on my face and neck, and they are scarring.
