Hello, I was wondering if acne, in the case of young men, could ever be caused by phimosis.

During phimosis there is removal of the foreskin .It has no correlation with acne or any other skin problem. Acne occurs due to a blockage of oil underneath the skin and builds up with bacteria causing inflammation and develops into a pimple. The common causes of acne are poor diet, stress, genetic, dirt, hormonal imbalances, cosmetics, work-related and drugs. Avoid popping or scratching them. Drink plenty of water. Take a good sleep. If the symptoms persist then oral and topical antibiotics like Clindamycin and tretinoin/isotretinoin or accutane may be needed. It is important to diagnose and choose the proper treatment. See a doctor. Hope it helps.
