8 year old son isolated LDH increase
Our 8 year old son has been in pain with his right leg for 5days.
We took him to a doctor yesterday they did an X-ray that came back all clear and a blood test that also came back normal except they are saying he has an isolated LDH increase. I have googled and now I’m a panic it could be something far more worse then I assumed.
He is otherwise healthy but does have bruising down his legs (not sure if that’s from being a boy). The only pain is in his calf and knee cap.
Have a follow up with another doctor in a few days for more blood test and they have written ‘bone scan if clinically indicated’
